Roseberry Topping National Trust

Roseberry Topping National Trust

Route details: Cleveland, Newton-under-Roseberry, North Yorkshire, TS9 6QR

Our 4th time visiting the hill together, its just a 30 minute drive and we decided to go one early morning. The weather forecast was wet and cloudy so we knew we wouldn't get the views but it was still nice to do the climb! Roseberry Topping is Cleveland's most famous hill!

Advise is to keep dogs on leads around livestock and be aware of steep drops, the drops aren't until you reach the summit but you probably want to keep dogs on leads up there!

At 1,050 feet (320m) it is less than a third of the size of Scafell Pike – England's highest peak.

into the clouds Otis goes... not a slightest bit out out breath as he tackles all the stone steps!

We made it... The only two up there (not surprised given the weather) and as you can see the views are great haha! Otis became the view 🥰

Otis wears size Medium Escapade Nutmeg, the handle harness is the biggest a help every single time we are out! little leg probs 🐶
